The IQ Challenge game I built is built differently — and I say that not to hype it up but because the design philosophy is genuinely different. The questions are hard. The Scoring System Explained
Here's how it works, plainly.
Each question is worth up to 10 points. Your base score for a correct answer is 5 points. The remaining 5 are distributed as speed bonus — the faster you answer, the closer to the full 10 you get. Answer in the first 10 seconds? You're near maximum. Wait until second 28? You're probably getting 5 or 6. Answer wrong or run out of time? Zero.
Your total raw points out of 150 then map to an estimated IQ score through a range-based conversion. The ranges stack up like this:

What Your Score Actually Tells You
This is where I want to slow down and say something slightly uncomfortable.
Your score on this game is not your IQ. I want to be clear about that. Real IQ testing happens in clinical or psychometric settings over an hour or more with trained standardization. No five-minute web game is doing that, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.
