I built it because QR codes should be easy
I built Fikrago QR for one reason: to make creating a QR code easy.
Most QR tools give you a plain black square and a pop-up asking you to pay. I wanted a studio where you open the page, make something that looks good, and download it, with no account needed to start.
What the studio does
Design. You can use gradients, dot styles, corner styles, logos and presets, and you see a real-time preview as you change them. Some options depend on your plan, so check the studio for what is open to you.
Seven content types. A code can open a URL, show plain text, join a Wi-Fi network, start an email or an SMS, share a contact card (vCard) or call a phone number. Each type has its own form, so you don’t have to format anything by hand.
Export. The homepage lists PNG with transparency, SVG for printing at any size, JPEG and WebP. The Free plan lists PNG and SVG, and PDF is listed under Starter, so check which formats your plan includes.
Dynamic codes. On the Professional plan you can change where a code points without reprinting it. This is useful for menus, flyers and packaging.
Analytics. Paid plans track scans. The homepage says this includes country, city, device, browser and referrer for each scan.
Static or dynamic?
A static code holds its content inside the pattern. It never changes and needs no service to keep working. It is the right choice for a link you will never edit.
A dynamic code points to a link you control, so you can update the destination later and see scan data. It is the right choice for anything printed that might change.

Tips for a QR code that scans every time
- Use strong contrast, dark code on a light background.
- Keep it at least about 2 cm (¾ inch) wide in print.
- Leave a blank border around it.
- Don’t make the logo or gradient too heavy.
- Test it on two different phones before you print.
- Add a short call to action, like “Scan for the menu.”
