I Lost My Job and My Father. Now I’m Open to Remote Work

The months I didn’t talk about

I haven’t written about this before, because I didn’t know how.

In the past months I went through some of the hardest moments of my life. I lost my job. And I lost my father.

I won’t pretend I handled it well. There were days when I didn’t want to open my laptop, answer messages or think about the future. My mom was going through the same pain, and we held on to each other. That is how we got through it.

I’m writing this now for two reasons. First, because staying quiet hasn’t helped me. Second, because I believe someone reading this may be able to open a door.

Who I am

My name is Ayoub Zinani. I live in Casablanca, Morocco.

I didn’t come from a tech background. I taught myself digital skills, step by step, through my own learning. I earned Google certifications in AI Essentials, Digital Marketing & E-commerce and Cybersecurity. I hold an English certificate. I also have a diploma in aluminum, which taught me something different: how to work with my hands and finish what I start.

I started Fikrago after my Etsy shop was suspended. That moment taught me not to depend on a single platform, so I built my own. Today it has free AI tools, a blog, a digital marketplace and a wellness site called Fikrago FeelGood. I built all of it with AI-assisted, no-code tools, and I built it alone.

I also run a YouTube channel, The Ayoub Method, where I share what I learn.

What I can do for your company or project

I’m not asking for charity. I’m offering work. Here is what I do:

• Website building. Clean, fast websites for small businesses and creators.
• Chatbot development. Chatbots that answer customer questions and save time.
• Social media management. Planning, posting and growing accounts.
• AI-assisted content and tools. Blog articles, SEO and small AI tools to help an online business run better.
• Digital marketing and e-commerce. Product pages, listings and basic marketing, backed by my Google certification.

I learn fast. I work hard. And I don’t give up easily, which is not something I say lightly after this year.

What I’m looking for

I’m open to any remote opportunity, with any company, anywhere in the world. That includes full-time roles, part-time roles, contracts and freelance projects.

I’m not picky about the industry. If the work is honest and I can learn it, I’ll give it everything I have. I’m also happy to start with a small paid test project so you can see my work before you decide anything.

Why I’m doing this

I have one dream, and it’s simple: to buy a house for my mom.

She stood by me during the hardest time of my life. She lost her husband, and she is still strong for me. I want to give her something solid. A home that is hers, a place where she can feel safe and proud.

That dream is what gets me up in the morning. It is why I’m writing this article, and it is why I’m still building.
